Governors
The governing body here at Charles Baines consists of 8 governors and 1 associate member.
A list of all governors from the past 12 Months can be found below.
The role of the governing body is to maintain and improve the schools standards of education. We are a strategic body who set the school vision and aims, we agree plans and policies as-well as monitor and evaluate the schools performance. The governing body is termed a “critical friend” to the headteacher, we are there to support and challenge Mrs Simmons / Mr Bell and the management team in managing the school.
The governors of Charles Baines are accountable to the pupils and parents/carers, to the local community, Lincolnshire County Council and the school staff.
If you wish to contact the governing body this can be done through the school office.
